DON P. ROESLE, Chief Executive Officer

Petroleum engineer since 1973. Joined Ryder Scott Company in 1975. Before joining Ryder Scott, he served as a reservoir engineer with Tenneco Oil Co. B.S. and M.S. degrees, petroleum engineering, University of Texas. Honorary Fraternities: Tau Beta Pi and Pi Epsilon Tau. Member, SPE. Registered professional engineer, State of Texas.

FRED RICHOUX
President

Petroleum engineer since 1967. Before joining Ryder Scott Company in 1978, he served as a reservoir engineering advisor at Phillips Petroleum Co. B.S. degree, electrical engineering, University of Southwestern Louisiana, Member SPE, CIM and SPEE. Registered professional engineer in Texas and Alberta (APEGGA).

 

DEAN RIETZ
Executive Vice President

Petroleum engineer since 1984. Joined Ryder Scott in 1995 as a petroleum engineer specializing in reservoir modeling. Became manager of the then new simulation group in 1998. Previously worked at Intera Technologies Inc. and H. J. Gruy and Assocs. Began career at Chevron Corp. as a petroleum engineer. BS degree in petroleum engineering, University of Oklahoma. MS degree, petroleum engineering, University of Houston. Member of SPE, Tau Beta Pi and Pi Epsilon Tau honorary engineering societies. Registered professional engineer in Texas.

GUALE RAMIREZ
Managing Senior Vice President

Petroleum engineer since 1976. Joined Ryder Scott in 1981 as a petroleum engineer. Previously, worked as a petroleum engineer at Natomas North America and Sun Production Co. where he began his career. BS degree in mechanical engineering, Texas A&M University. Member of SPE, SPWLA. Registered professional engineer in Texas.

HERMAN ACUNA
Managing Senior Vice President

Petroleum engineer since 1987. Before joining Ryder Scott, Acuña worked at Exxon Corp. for nine years as a petroleum engineer in reservoir simulation R&D and later in reservoir modeling for depletion strategies, field development and production optimization. Began career in 1988 as a petroleum engineer at a Tulsa, OK, consulting firm. BS and MS degrees in petroleum engineering, University of Tulsa. Member of Society of Petroleum Engineers and Association of International Petroleum Negotiators. Registered professional engineer in the state of Texas.

GEORGE F. DAMES
Managing Senior Vice President - Geoscience

Geologist since 1975. Joined Ryder Scott in 1993 as a petroleum geologist after working as a consultant for two years. Before that, Dames was an exploration geologist at Wagner and Brown from 1985 to 1991. He began his career as a geologist at Southern Natural Gas Co. in 1975 where he worked for four years before joining Texasgulf Oil and Gas Co. After that, Dames was a geology manager at Texas General Petroleum Co. and later joined Andress Petroleum. BA degree in geology from Rice University. Registered Professional Geologist in the State of Texas.

Jeffrey D. Wilson
Senior Vice President

Petroleum engineer since 1991.  Joined Ryder Scott in 1998.  Began career at Exxon Corp. as a petroleum engineer in the reservoir studies group specializing in economic modeling and later on full fielddevelopment and production optimization.  BS degree in mechanical engineering, University of Houston, magna cum laude. Member of SPE and Tau Beta Pi, an honorary engineering society. Registered professional engineer in the state of Texas.
