Reservoir simulation projects utilizing CMG' S IMEX simulator:

  • Analyze a waterflood simulation of an oil reservoir using both parallel and diagonal grid flow systems.  Implement different grid sizes to study the effects on water cut %, cumulative oil production, and numerical dispersion.
  • Study fluid property data from a PVT report for an offshore Louisiana well.  Vary oil viscosity and oil relative permeability to identify trends in breakthrough time and water cut %.
  • Complete full-field history match and future production analysis of an oil reservoir to assist client in identifying potential drilling locations.

Design and program an IMPES reservoir simulator to model pressure and saturation fronts based on different oil production and water injection scenarios.
