Reservoir Solutions Downloads

The following Reservoir Solutions petroleum engineering and geoscience add-in applications are now available for download. Each program is designed to function with Microsoft Excel versions (Windows only) subsequent to Excel 97, including Excel 2007/2010. Click the applicable program link below for more information. After downloading any of the applications, users have to submit the Freeware Password Request Form to get the passwords that enable program installation.

Ryder Scott is pleased to introduce a composite version that includes all programs in a single download, "The Works.” Downloading and installing The Works dramatically reduces the amount of time and effort to get the programs up and running.

NOTE: Current versions are incompatible with the 64-bit version of Excel 2010.

Freeware Download, Installation and Startup Instructions - All users are encouraged to review this guidance, especially users of Excel 2007/2010. The implementation of Excel 2007/2010 has introduced new file formats and security considerations as well as other challenges to new users of these versions.

User Note: Some Reservoir Solutions software users have experienced file-format difficulties when using Excel 2007/2010. Specifically, files saved in .xlsm format and then re-opened in Excel 2007/2010 have not functioned properly in some cases. Currently, the only fool-proof solution is to save files in the Excel 97-2003 format, .xls. We are researching the problem and hope to have a fix soon.
