The rscCBM Program provides the user with versatile Coalbed Methane Volumetrics Analysis tools. The program incorporates the standard Langmuir parameters obtained from laboratory analysis of coalbed core samples with a feature rich set of calculation procedures to provide the use with useful and reliable results. rscCBM presents a graphical representation for each zone'."'".'s, seam'."'".'s or well'."'".'s wells results which can, at the user'."'".'s option be printed. Data validation and enhanced navigation are employed extensively. In each case where calculated results are anticipated in the program, the user may optionally override such calculations, and such changes will be evident to the user by a change in background color. This is especially important where calculations are based on manual input rather calculations based on the Langmuir parameters, such as when no lab data are available.

The templates employed in rscCBM are large by design but utilize "frozen panes" to facilitate data entry and visualization of graphical results. This could create difficulties for users who have low resolution graphics displays. To compensate for this circumstance, the program automatically detects the user'."'".'s display settings for the purpose of setting or eliminating the frozen panes, as appropriate.
