GUALE RAMIREZ, P.E.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Petroleum engineer since 1976. Joined Ryder Scott in 1981 as a petroleum engineer. Previously, worked as a petroleum engineer at Natomas North America and Sun Production Co., where he began his career. BS degree in mechanical engineering, Texas A&M University. Member of SPE, SPWLA. Registered professional engineer in Texas.
HERMAN ACUÑA, P.E.
President

Petroleum engineer since 1987. Before joining Ryder Scott, Acuña worked at Exxon Corp. for nine years as a petroleum engineer in reservoir simulation R&D and later in reservoir modeling for depletion strategies, field development, and production optimization. Began career in 1988 as a petroleum engineer at a Tulsa, OK, consulting firm. BS and MS degrees in petroleum engineering, University of Tulsa. Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and Association of International Petroleum Negotiators. Registered professional engineer in the state of Texas.
TOSIN FAMUREWA, P.E.
Executive Vice President
Petroleum engineer since 2000. Joined Ryder Scott in 2006. Famurewa began his career at Texaco Inc. and Chevron Corp. For more than 20 years, he has conducted reserves evaluations and analyzed waterflood and steamflood EOR projects worldwide. At Ryder Scott, Famurewa, group leader, manages evaluation projects. He estimates reserves, forecasts production, and analyzes field economics to generate discounted net present values. He has an MS degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Southern California and BS degrees in chemical engineering and material science, respectively, from the University of California at Berkeley. Famurewa is a member of SPE. 
ERIC NELSON, P.E.
Executive Vice President
Petroleum engineer since 2002. Joined Ryder Scott in 2005. Began career at ExxonMobil Corp. as a reservoir engineer for a collection of mature oil-producing assets in West Texas and as lead reservoir simulation engineer for a major heavy oil project in Venezuela. At Ryder Scott, evaluates and audits reserves for a wide variety of reservoirs and geographic areas. BS degree in chemical engineering, University of Tulsa. MBA degree, University of Texas. Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. 
DAN OLDS, P.E.
Managing Senior Vice President

Petroleum engineer since 1981.  Joined Ryder Scott in 2001.  Began career at Wintershall Energy as a manager of engineering and acquisitions.  Evaluated on- and offshore-producing fields in most of the major basins in the U.S. while there.  Joined PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as manager of a consulting group providing engineering and evaluation expertise internally and to clients.  BS degree in petroleum engineering, West Virginia University.  MBA degree, University of Houston.  Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
MILES PALKE, P.E.
Managing Senior Vice President
Petroleum engineer since 1996. Joined Ryder Scott in 1998. Palke, leader of the reservoir simulation group, has more than 20 years of reservoir engineering experience with a heavy emphasis on simulation. Areas of expertise include sector and full-field modeling, fluid characterization, compositional simulation, coalbed methane recovery, gas storage operations, nodal analysis, well test analysis and material balance analysis. He has MS and BS degrees in petroleum engineering from Stanford University and Texas A&M University, respectively, and is a member of SPE.
STEPHEN GARDNER, P.E.
Managing Senior Vice President
Petroleum engineer since 2001. Joined Ryder Scott in 2006. Previously, worked as a Project Engineer at ExxonMobil, where he began his career. Stephen has more than 20 years of experience in onshore and offshore oil and gas reservoir and production engineering and operations. He received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
PHILIP JANKOWSKI, P.G.
Managing Senior Vice President
Geologist since 2007. Joined Ryder Scott in 2007. Philip has over 14 years of experience with Ryder Scott performing volumetric reserves evaluation through geological, geophysical, and petrophysical methods. He has been involved in integrated studies with multidisciplinary team approaches to analyze seismic, geological, engineering, and economic data. He has experience with projects involving structural and isopachous mapping, well-log correlation and interpretation, and reservoir characterization. He has a BA degree in Geology from Texas A&M University.
