The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

North Sea: Performed reservoir engineering and geological studies of numerous fields in the North Sea. The preponderance of these studies has involved the determination of oil and gas reserves. These evaluations have served as the basis for purchases and sales of properties and development financing. Studies have also been used for reservoir-management and field-development planning.

United Kingdom North Sea

Ardmore field (Block 30/24)
Prepared a fieldwide reserves study for a U.K.-based producer. The study incorporated seismic and subsurface geological data together with well-performance history.

Block 22/19A
Evaluated several small, unexplored structures through seismic analysis and analogy to nearby producing blocks for a large U.S. independent producer.

Brae field (Block 16/7)
Appraised the leasehold interests of a U.K. producer in connection with a proposed divestiture to a U.S. producer.

Bruce field (Block 9/8A)
A detailed field study was prepared at the request of an investment banking firm that represented an international industrial corporation as a potential investor.

Caister field (Block 44/23)
Prepared annual reserves studies for several years for both U.S. and Canadian clients. These studies have served as the basis for bank loans, regulatory reports and the acquisition and sale of interests.

Moray Firth Basin (Block 11/30)
Prepared a reserves study as a basis for developing a field exploitation plan.

Ninian, Harding and other fields
Performed detailed audit of 11 fields in various stages (primary and enhanced recovery) in U.K. North Sea for possible merger. Analyzed effects of pressure maintenance, reviewed geophysical data, analyzed well logs and fully reviewed field performance. Reviewed deterministic and probabilistic reserves assessments of seller and seller's consultant. Projected future oil and gas production for each field by reserves category and risk. Provided advice on future development, including well locations and downside risk. Analyzed future development costs and sensitivity to oil price in this high-operating-cost environment.

Various Blocks
Evaluated the interests in numerous blocks and fields in the U.K. owned by a producing affiliate of a large U.S. natural gas pipeline. The independent reserves certification was used in connection with a divestiture of producing properties and unexplored prospects. The fields included Beryl A and B, Montrose (Blocks 22/17 and 22/18), Fulmar (Block 30/16), Hutton (Blocks 211/27 and 211/28), N.W. Hutton, Leman (Blocks 49/26 and 49/27) and Inde.
